Im sorry to hear it didnt work. I had something similar on my machine. The setting became useless after a disconect in a heavy loaded system with combat etc. My client alos didnt fire up just as your client. My problem was solved with new settings...

The order of doing this is important otherwise the settings are frelled again. 1. Delete 'settings' folder 2. Reboot computer 3. Run EvE

Have you tried rebooting your computer or check if theres still an exefile.exe is running in the taskmanager? The borked client is prob. still running on the background.

Try the latest nvidia driver provided by your manufacturer. The latest version has a new physx driver and some SLI fixes. (181.22)
